The foundation Ceramic Artists of Noord-Holland (Stichting Keramisten Noord-Holland) presents comtemporary ceramic art in Monnickendam. This year the large exhibition of the ceramic artists of the region Noord-Holland is held in Monnickendam, a historic town near Amsterdam.

I always like to take part in this exhibition, it is an excellent opportunity to view the contemporary ceramic art  of the region.

Also I just like to talk with the fellow ceramic artists. If you like that too, come along!

More than 30 ceramic artists take part in this exhibition overview, each with several own works on a spacious place. Enjoy the more than 150 ceramic works of art.

How to get to the exhibition ?

Public transport
If you come by public transport you can take the bus from platform IJ side at Amsterdam Central Station bus line 315 and from Purmerend bus line 103 and get off at Nieuwpoortslaan in Monnickendam . From Hoorn and Edam select bus 314 and from Volendam line 110 or 118. Get off at the stop Bernhardbrug and through a tunnel you walk into Monnickendam.

Car
Follow the A10 (Amsterdam) signs S116 to Volendam and Marken. From the direction Hoorn (A7) follow the signs then Volendam and Monnickendam.  From the N247 you can take in all cases the exit Monnickendam / Marken. You can see the tower of the Great Church already at the entrance of Monnickendam . Turn left immediately after the bridge . You can park your car for free at the parking lot or on “Bolwerk” which is located opposite the Great Church.
