Enjoy these unique “handmade” hand bowls.

Decorated with “hand stencils”. These handprints are fascinating, beautiful and a very old tradition. It is time to wave back to all the Stone Age artists who made them 64,000 years ago in caves all around the world.

I didn’t have a cave to crawl into. That’s why I used my “man cave” (the studio) to make my hand kiss on pottery…

Dimensions

Process

Thrown on the wheel from approx. 450 grams of clay and turned after light drying. Decoration by a hand stencil with red terra sig. Then first fired (bisc).

After the biscuit, glaze with a self-developed blue / green crystal line and a lively light glaze. Heating in approx. 14 hours fired to 1280 oC and cooled slowly (to promote micro crystals).

Please note: The bowls are made in a limited edition. They are handmade and therefore have small differences. This makes them unique, but they can differ slightly from the photos.
